Extreme winter training on a snowy roof!

Despite the hard, cold winter, Hampel took to a very different training session for his first time on the bike this year. However this was no usual practice on a speedway track, this was on the more extreme surface on snow on top of Katowice Spodek. This was on the roof of the Katowice Sports Building - ten storeys high, very spectacular! This was done in promotion of Jarek's sponsor Red Bull. Here is what Jarek said after riding on the snowy roof of the Katowice Spodek: "I am delighted that this project was able to happen because it wasnt easy in the conditions in which I rode in - very different than riding a speedway bike on a normal shale track. Before my first lap, I was feeling quite apprehensive because I knew it was supposed to be a big show at an unusual venue. From then, I experienced great emotions from fear at the beginning to great euphoria after. The views were also unimaginable from the rooftop whilst I was riding around in a cicle so high up.
